Firm pressure massage can be part of your treatment if appropriate. I find that if the pressure is too much and your muscles tense up, the benefit of the session is not as great. I will check in with you about your comfort level throughout the massage to make sure the pressure is perfect for you. If you want to be squashed, then I can refer you to a better-suited therapist.
I've got you covered! I have an infrared heating pad, warm oil and the option of including the infrared sauna as part of your treatment. When we review your health history, we will discuss the pros and cons of heat and what is best suited for you.
I don't charge for a cancelled appointment due to illness, but I do ask that you give me 24 hours notice. I do charge a 50% fee for non-illness related cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
